Ph.D. Candidate & Researcher @ Emlyon Business School

I am a PhD candidate in Strategic Management at Emlyon Business School in France, where I study how multinational enterprises (MNEs) navigate institutional complexities in global expansion. My research examines how firms adapt to regulatory uncertainty, manage cultural and political constraints, and optimize resource allocation across diverse markets. By integrating institutional theory and the resource-based view, I provide insights into strategic decision-making in an increasingly uncertain global environment.

Methodologically, I use econometric modeling and machine learning to analyze large datasets, uncovering patterns in market entry, exit, and re-entry strategies. My work contributes to a deeper understanding of how firms develop resilience and sustain competitive advantage amid institutional and managerial challenges.

I am active in the Strategy & Organization (STORM) and Innovation & Entrepreneurship (InvEnt) research centers. My research is shaped and guided by the expertise of Jean-Luc Arregle, Addis Birhanu, and Paul W. Beamish, whose mentorship and insights have been instrumental in developing my scholarly journey.

At Emlyon Business School, I teach courses in strategy, quantitative methods, and international business development at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Beyond research and teaching, I have been elected as the PhD student representative for two consecutive years, where I have played a key role in fostering a supportive and intellectually engaging academic community.
